Bloom's Literature-Videos

Bloom's Literature database contains writings of Harold Bloom as well as other critics. Features include over 400 videos, author biographies, overviews, synopses, analyses and literary criticism of thousands of works from novels to poetry to plays, video segments, in-depth full-text entries on literary topics and themes and a literary timeline.

How to add a video from Bloom's Literature in D2L:

At this time the embed codes for Bloom's Videos are not functioning. We are working on a solution. Until then, you can use the Record URL to create a link to any video in the Bloom's database.

1. Search Bloom's Literature for a video.
2. Select the Share option from the toolbar.
3. Copy the Record URL (see image below).
4. In D2L go to the Content tool and click on the learning module you wish to work in.
5. Click Upload/Create and then Create A Link.
6. Enter the Title and the URL
7. Click Create.
8. When your page is complete, click Publish.
