Cite an Article

Format:

Author. Title. Abbreviated Journal Title. Date; volume (issue): page numbers.

Example:

Losos JB. Evolution: a lizard's tale. Sci Am. 2001 Mar; 284(3): 64-69.

 

Cite an Article from a Database

Format:

Author. Title. Abbreviated Journal Title [Internet]. Date [Cited date]; volume (issue); page numbers. URL.

Example:

Dean CK. Immunohistology in adolescent asthma. Respir Res [Internet]. 2013 [cited 2018 March 5]; 18(1); 44-51. http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx123456.
