Student Research Symposium

The Spartanburg Community College Student Research Symposium is an opportunity for students to present posters based on projects from class, research, or personal projects.

The fall 2025 Symposium will be held on Wednesday, November 19th from 10:30-1:00 in the library.

The registration deadline for the fall 2025 Symposium is November 7th. All applications for poster presentations must be submitted by this date in order to be considered for the Symposium.

The goals of the symposium are to:

• Provide a platform for students to share and discuss their work with the college community
• Showcase high-quality work as a model for future projects
• Offer students an experience beyond the classroom setting
• Give students a meaningful academic experience to highlight on their resume or college transfer applications

Presentations at the Symposium will be evaluated by a panel of judges and awards will be given for the highest quality posters.
