When you are first assigned a research project in class, it can be overwhelming, especially if you have never done a research project before. 

The most important thing to keep in mind is that research is a process, which means there are multiple steps you have to take to complete your project. It is also common and normal if you need to go back and repeat steps as you begin your research.
