Before you begin work on your resume, examine the assignment closely for any requirements. 

Q. How many sources?

You will need to include at least three scholarly sources (four, if including the textbook).

Q. What kind of sources?

You must use scholarly sources for this assignment. Peer-reviewed academic journals are recommended, but also acceptable sources include textbook, journal articles, scholarly books, or parts of an edited book.

Q. How long should the resume be?

This assignment should be about two pages in length. The body should be in Calibri 11-point font between 300 to 400 words (not including the name, date of birth/death, title, and references).

Q. How do you cite sources?

Use APA format for your citations. You may want to remind yourself what information you need to create the APA References page and in-text citations.

Q. What other requirements should you make note of? 

Using the correct template for your resume. You have to turn in a rough draft and you have do a presentation on this assignment.

Information to Include

For this assignment, you must include the following information on the resume:

  1. Name of the famous psychologist, their date of birth and date of death (if deceased), and the main contribution for which they are known. Also, include a summary of their professional career and accomplishments.
  2. A list of education and/or work experience (include six significant professional events).
  3. A list of work-related skills, awards, and memberships (as they apply to this psychologist).
  4. A list of four specific details (include books, experiments, theories, etc.) related to their contribution to the field of psychology.
  5. Reference section in APA format of three to six cited sources, at least four if citing the textbook.
