ANA represents the interests of all registered nurses, from advocacy to career development, with the goal of advancing the profession and improving the quality of care.

SCNA as part of the American Nurses Association works to set requirements to enter the profession, establishes standards of nursing practice and advocates for the changes needed to ensure quality health care in our state.

The mission of ANCC, working with ANA, is to promote excellence in nursing and health care through credentialing programs.

NCSBN is the vehicle through which jurisdictional boards of nursing act and counsel together to provide regulatory excellence for public health, safety and welfare.
