Think about if individuals or groups who would be involved. Your research could different cultures or countries or types of people depending of the food you choose.

What

What aspects of the history, culture or food do you want to research? Read some background information or a summary to learn more about your topic, and

then make a list of relevant points.The background reading can also provide you with keywords, specialized vocabulary, and definitions, which will be useful for future searches.

When

When your food was created or became popular or is eaten can affect your searches and what sources to look at. For example, if you choose a food that is popular at the Thanksgiving dinner, that would affect your keyword terms.

Where

What is the region or culture or country of origin for your food? How does where it from impact the food?

Why

Why is grown or was created? Why is eaten (regular meal, holiday, celebration, etc)? Why is popular if it is? Why did you choose it?
