Analyze Your Topic

For your presentation, you must include the following information about your historical figure:

Identify the person
Present factual information about the person's biography
Discuss the relevance of the person to your field of study or career
Discuss the influence or contributions of the person to your field or career

You may select a historical figure from any time period and any culture. Your figure must have a connection to your area of study, but this connection can be interpreted in a variety of ways. For example, Hedy Lamarr (the Hollywood starlet) was a brilliant mind and helped create a radio-guidance system for Allied torpedoes--her contributions to mathematics and technology have influenced modern Wi-Fi systems and other computer programs.
