First Things First - Assignment Requirements
Before you begin work on your article summaries, examine the assignment closely for any requirements.
Q. Where do I find my biology articles?
Your articles should come from the Today's Science database from the Library's homepage. The articles should have been written no longer than 5 years ago. (Current year minus 5). Some instructors ask to approve the articles before you begin writing your summaries, so make sure to check on this before you start.
Q. How long should the summary be?
This could be a page length, a page range, a word count, etc.
Q. How do you cite sources?
You will cite your articles in MLA format.
Q. When is it due?
Make a careful note of the due date for your summaries.
Q. What other requirements should you make note of?
Make note of any other requirements on the assignment sheet, and ask your instructor for clarification on any parts you're not sure about.
