After thoroughly examining your assignment, now it's time to look for some initial thinking about your topic. For this paper, you will choose your top 2 reasons for going into nursing and 2 attitudes from the list in your textbook. This assignment should be an honest evaluation of yourself and the attitudes you truly hope to attain as a nurse. Your textbook is a great place to start brainstorming what qualities a nurse should have and why nursing appealed to you.

How does a nurse show professionalism?

Why

Think about the reasons you have chosen nursing as your course of study and future profession. You will need to state the top 2 reasons you have chosen nursing, and why they are your top 2 reasons.

Review Table 15-3 on page 203 of your textbook. Pick 2 attitudes that you hope to work on during your studies of nursing. You will need to discuss the 2 attitudes you chose, explain why you chose them, and explain how to you will implement them in class or in clinical.
