4. Find a Journal Article

Once you've narrowed your topic and thought about keywords, try searching the database below for potential journal articles .  The following database is the best place to start. If your keywords aren't working, ask a librarian for help!

Article Requirements

**Always double check specific requirements with your instructor and/or assignment sheet.

1. Your article must be peer-reviewed
   When searching for articles, look for the check box in the database to limit your results to peer-reviewed articles.
    
2. Your article must contain 10 medical terms that you will define
    
3. Your article must be about one of the body systems
    

   Assignment #1 choose from:	Assignment #2 choose from:
   Musculoskeletal System Respiratory System Circulatory System	Digestive System Urinary System Reproductive System Integumentary System

4. Your article must be easy to understand
   If you can't understand the article, it will be impossible to summarize it.
    
5. Your article should probably be between 1,000-4,000 words (consult your instructor if you want to do a longer article)
    
6. Your article must be an approved document type
   Do not use an editorial, brief article, correction notice, ect. (consult your instructor for additional article types they do not want you to use).
7. Your article should be 5 years old or less
