BIO 100 - Today's Science Article Summaries

2. Find Your Articles

After thoroughly examining your assignment, now it's time to look for your biology articles in the Today's Science database. Step-by-step instructions are included below the database.

First, click on the link to the Today's Science database:

Click on the three lines in the top left corner next to "Today's Science."

Then, from the list of science topics, select "Biology."

Browse through the topics and select an article you find interesting. Remember that the article date must be no more than 5 years old.

Select the "Save" icon, then select "Print." This will give you a print preview that will help you estimate the length of the text of your article minus photographs and references.

Be sure to check your assignment guidelines to see if you need your instructor's approval for an article before you start writing your summaries.
